Product Description

Ceramic Fiber (CF-1010, CF-1020, CF-1025, CF-1035)

Aluminum silicate fiber is produced from high aluminum content silicate ores such as kaolin, coke gem, and pyrophyllite. The combined silicon dioxide and alumina content exceeds 96%.

SiO2 Al2O3 Fe2O3 Na2O+K2O
45%-55% 40-50% 0.8%-1.0% 0.2%-0.5%

Characteristics and Applications:

  • Low heat conductivity and high thermal stability.
  • Excellent chemical stability and non-caustic properties.
  • High temperature resistance and decentrality for brake linings.
  • Suitable for all types of mixers.

Recommended Dosage:

  • Brake drum: 20-35%
  • Brake disc: 10-25%

Composite Fiber

Non-Asbestos Composite Mineral Synthetic Fibre (CF-1035, CF-1025)

This fiber is composed of mineral fiber, organic fiber, and surface treatment agents. With a length of 1.0-3.5mm, it offers excellent dispersion. It is particularly effective for cold-type two-step brake lining production processes, eliminating the need for additional organic fibers.

Storage & Safety

Storage: Must be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture penetration. Opened packs should be resealed immediately.

Industrial Safety:

  1. Risk of explosion by static sparks or ignition sources.
  2. Use only explosion-proof equipment.
  3. Use with local exhaust ventilation.
  4. Wear protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is the maximum working temperature for this ceramic fiber?
The highest working temperature for our ceramic fiber is 800℃, with a softening point exceeding 1750℃.
Q2: Are these fibers suitable for automotive brake components?
Yes, they are specifically recommended for brake drums (20-35% dosage) and brake discs (10-25% dosage) due to their high heat recovery and temperature resistance.
Q3: Does the product contain asbestos?
No, our ceramic and composite fibers have a 0% asbestos content, making them safe for modern industrial applications.
Q4: How should the material be stored to maintain quality?
It must be stored in a cool, dry environment. It is crucial to prevent moisture penetration, and any opened bags should be resealed as soon as possible.
Q5: What are the main chemical components of the aluminum silicate fiber?
The fiber consists primarily of SiO2 (45%-55%) and Al2O3 (40-50%), with trace amounts of Fe2O3 and Na2O+K2O.
Q6: What safety equipment is required during handling?
We recommend using local exhaust ventilation, explosion-proof equipment, and wearing protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles to ensure worker safety.
